Al-Futtaim Automotive, which runs the BYD electric car brand in Saudi Arabia, is hiring an EV Charging Technical Lead to look after its home and fast-charging network across the Kingdom. This is a field-based role with a lot of travel. What you will do: - Visit sites to find and fix faults on AC home chargers and DC public fast chargers. - Install software and firmware updates, and do first-level maintenance on DC chargers. - Survey sites before installation, then supervise certified contractors while they install and commission chargers. - Make sure installations meet Saudi electrical safety and product standards (SE, SASO) and MOMRAH rules. - Write site reports, snag lists and weekly or monthly dashboards on charger uptime and open faults. - Act as the technical link between internal teams and outside contractors and vendors. Practical notes: the posting lists the location as Saudi Arabia without naming one city, and says you must be willing to travel widely and work flexible hours. A valid KSA driving licence is required. The listing does not show a salary or a closing date. It does not say who pays for visa or medical, so ask during the hiring process. Apply only through the official link on this page. Real employers never ask for money for a job, a visa or an interview.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, power systems or similar
  • 3 to 6 years of field experience in EV charging, electrical infrastructure or power distribution
  • Hands-on experience with AC (Type 2) and DC fast chargers from makers such as Siemens, Wallbox or ABB
  • Experience supervising contractors on installations across several sites
  • Working knowledge of Saudi Electricity, SASO and MOMRAH requirements
  • Valid KSA driving licence and willingness to travel across the Kingdom
  • Business-level English; professional Arabic is a plus
