Applications are now open for the 64th Batch of Cadets at the Pakistan Marine Academy (PMA) for the 2026-27 session. This is your opportunity to join the Merchant Navy, travel the world, and build an exciting career in the maritime industry.

📌 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality & Age Limit

• Unmarried male citizens of Pakistan
• Maximum Age:
• 20 years as of 31 December 2025
• 21 years for candidates from FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK & Balochistan (1-year relaxation)

Academic Qualification

• F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or A-Level with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
• Minimum 55% marks (60% for Part-I appearing candidates with a Hope Certificate)
• O/A-Level candidates must submit an equivalence certificate
• DAE (Diploma holders) are NOT eligible

1. Download Prospectus & Application Form from PMA Website
2. Submit Completed Form via courier along with:

• Bank Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 4,000/- (in favor of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi)
• NBP Branch Code: 0239 (DD from any bank acceptable)

1. Last Date for Submission: 25th July 2025

📌 Selection Process

1. Entrance Test (10th August 2025 – Sunday)

• Test Centers: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Abbottabad, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sukkur
• Minimum 50% marks required to qualify

2. Medical Examination

• Conducted at designated Armed Forces/Navy Hospitals
• Color-blind candidates are ineligible

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Final Interview

• PET Standards:
  • 1.6 km Run – 8 minutes
  • 15 Push-ups & Sit-ups – 2 minutes each
  • 2 Chin-ups – 2 minutes

4. Final Merit List

• Based on F.Sc marks, Entry Test, Medical, PET & Interview

• 2-Year Residential Training at PMA
• Associate Degree awarded by NED University
• IMO-recognized Pre-Sea Mandatory Courses

📌 Scholarships Available

• 33 Need-Based Scholarships (Sponsored by Ministry of Maritime Affairs)
• Balochistan: 06
• KPK: 06
• Punjab: 06
• Sindh: 06

🚫 Ineligibility Conditions

• Tampered/fake academic documents
• Concealment of information or false submissions
• Previously dismissed from any academy/armed forces
• Medically unfit (including color blindness)
• Convicted in court for moral turpitude
