What you will do: - Install, test and maintain wiring, equipment, appliances and light fittings using hand and power tools. - Find and fix faults in electrical systems and parts. - Connect wires to breakers, transformers and other parts. - Use testers such as ohmmeters and voltmeters, and test batteries in generators and emergency lights. - Read plans and wiring drawings and follow electrical codes. - Answer repair requests, do preventive maintenance and keep track of spare parts. - Follow safety rules and report hazards.
