Field Service Technician, Volvo Construction Equipment at Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO), Dubai
Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO) needs a Field Service Technician in Dubai to look after Volvo construction equipment at customer sites. What you will do: - Travel to customer sites to service, inspect and repair heavy machines. - Remove, fit, open up and rebuild big parts such as engines, gearboxes (transmissions) and axles. - Find and fix faults in hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission systems using the maker's manuals and wiring diagrams. - Do planned (preventive) maintenance and repair work to the maker's standards. - Keep job cards, service records and timesheets correct, and tell customers and supervisors what you found. - Follow all safety rules. Requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on field service, maintenance or repair work on construction or heavy equipment
- Experience on Volvo construction equipment is strongly preferred
- Able to diagnose hydraulic, electrical, engine and transmission faults
- Able to read technical manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Good spoken and written English
