Senior Engineer, Mechanical Rotating Equipment at OQ, Sohar

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical plants
- Hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps and compressors, gearboxes, turbo expanders, gas and steam turbines, fans and blowers
- Good knowledge of API standards (such as 610, 617, 618, 682) and NFPA
- Experience with condition monitoring and performance analysis of rotating equipment
- Able to read P&IDs, PFDs, engineering drawings and maker manuals
- Knowledge of SAP (PM, MM) and tools such as Meridium and PI
- Excellent written and spoken English
